When a babies hollering about his wet diaper, you forget to use a peepee teepee.
and you get peed on.
and you don't even care.

JB brings me breakfast in bed every morning since we've been home.

ReplyDeleteok you are going to be tired of hearing from me now but ME TOO. i had no idea how great babies were before having one!! i wasn't even sure i would ever be ready! and thank goodness for husbands right? you make sure the baby is fed and they make sure the mama is fed!!

I changed the poopiest smelliest diaper this morning...and then picked her up and kissed all over her. ;) Be in love and enjoy every single moment. He is the cutest thing ever, and so tiny. Personally, I love seeing pictures of babies on my facebook, my cousins baby is the cutest thing in the entire world (though I may be a little biased)

It is definitely not as easy as some women make it look when they just whip out a boob at a restaurant. I LOVE that I can give my baby the nourishment he needs, but dang it hurts and can just be so darn tough. Glad to hear you are starting to enjoy it. Best wishes to you!

It's so crazy isn't it, the way our body responds to theirs. How a kiss is wayyy more than just a kiss when it comes from your baby. My daughter has started to "French" me lately. No idea where she learned that but I'm rolling with it. I love her. The way she fits just perfectly with me, the way my body responds to so much as a whimper for her. This bond can never change Or be broken. I cross my fingers that next we'll have a boy. Because I yearn for him. Maybe not today, but soon. I want my mamas boy and my mommy's girl. I want them both. I want it all. Having it all for your family really isn't asking to much right?

ReplyDeleteawwww loved you list! night time routine is soooooo important! i " sleep trained" all 3 of my kiddos using a book called 12 hours by 12 weeks ( check it out if your interested :) and they all slept 12 hours before the age of 12 weeks.
