Y'all, it's time to come clean. I've been hiding a little secret ...
I had to go in for a fetal echo due to my mended heart. {all was fine with babe + me}
While there, my momma asked the nurse if he'd be able to tell us what exactly I was growing in there.
He said it was 50/50 at this stage whether he'd be able to see.
Or not.
Very quickly we saw what not a one of us could deny was a
B O Y.
I become a teary eyed dope thinking about a mini JB running around.
Watching them together ... well, that heart of mine is gonna be a goner.

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! You had me fooled! I was totally thinking girl because when you mentioned the baby you always wrote "she/he" instead of "he/she". Ha - silly reason, but I thought it was your subconscious telling us something because I always said "he or she", "him or her" and sure enough, we had a boy!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of that, boys are absolutely wonderful! All my life I've been a sucker for love. But, really, there is nothing better than the love a mother has for her son. I love my husband dearly, but my son is the love of my life :) CONGRATS!!!
Hooray! So excited for you guys. Parker, Everett, Westley, and Behr will have to teach him the ropes.
