ahhh you've been killing me with these instagrams, girlfriend! my family has a condo in vero beach and every year starting january 1st it is pretty much the only thing i think about until i take my getaway trip. must. get. there. immediately.
So funny... I actually did everything listed on the first quote. But I fell in love first, then quit the job and bought the ticket. It's been SO good so far :)
And to think. All those amazing photos were taken with a CELL PHONE!!!
By the way, I absolutely love the watercolor header you did. I've been meaning to tell you that forever now, but I've been such a lazy commenter and read most blogs on my phone... haha. Lookin good girl! :)
I definitely need to follow your first quote....quite my job...buy a ticket...fall in love....yes please. Now I wonder, so what European boy is my destiny?!
omg sarah, i am the same. i need the ocean in my life. i just had a straight month with it and i already have withdrawal symptoms haha. i love the first quote and like you, i am definitely a mermaid xxx
the last thing I did before hopping a plane back to sweden was go to the beach. I have always loved the water, sun and sand combination; so incredibly soothing. These photos are all a great reminder of one of my favorite places :)
I live in San Diego, so the ocean is very important to me too! When we lived in CH I could FEEL how land-locked we were. The lakes are beautiful there and lovely to swim in (hello, no salty lips!), but I always longed to be near the ocean again...
I was born by the ocean....I missed it so much for years and then after a near death experience it called me...so I went back to the ocean...and regained balance...I go back every year now...my dream is to live by the ocean. I LOVE your photos! I was told years ago that I was a mermaid and i believe it! :D
LOVE all your sea pics.. i also am obsessed with the water- i feel so peaceful and at home by the sea (:

ReplyDeleteHaha. I am with you--beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, those pictures are making me crave summer nights on the water rocking peacefully and relaxing on a boat.
ReplyDeleteWhich is tough in the middle of winter, in Arizona (or in summer for that matter!).
I miss living in Seattle and being so close to water!
❤ Katherine
Love your new header! Only YOU could paint in watercolors and not make it look sloppy :-)

ReplyDeleteI hear you. I feel that way in general about the oceanside. Once you see it (the sea), it's like everything else melts away...

Gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous. That is 'Good job, God' scenery for sure.
ReplyDeleteThat first bit... would be the dream life, right?
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean. I've always liked: "The cure for everything is salt water, whether it be in the form of tears, sweat, or the sea."
ReplyDeleteThere's something about the ocean that makes everything better or at least makes life just a bit more clear.
Such pretty pictures!
ReplyDeleteI want to live by the sea.
when i was younger, i wanted to be a mermaid when i grew up.
ReplyDeletenow, i am older, and i still want to be a mermaid when i grow up.
