morning walks with my mom are my favorite.
the sand beneath my toes, salt air, and white sugary shores of Florida serve as a pretty spectacular backdrop too.
i have a lot to learn from my momma.
as i've never met a more grateful, giving, or sweeter human being.
she's also the best listener. period.
love you mom.
thanks for the endless giggles, advice, lessons, and ya know - giving birth to me.

What a sweet post! I'm so glad you're having such an amazing time back home! xoxo

Oh gosh- I am tearing up. I want my Mommy!!!
ReplyDeleteI had to leave her this weekend after seeing her for only 2 days and I was bawling. :)
I love MOMS!!
Beautiful pictures. My mom and I don't talk, unfortunately. It's hard for me, but I find strength and hope in my dad. I also remind myself how lucky I am to have a close knit family consisting of two very loud and loving aunts. They are the greatest teachers and I have a log to learn from them as well :) Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a wonderful time with just you and your mom. Beautiful photos!
ReplyDeletesooo pretty, I guess I need to come to florida soon! cannot you believe you live so close to such a pretty beach!!

ReplyDeletebeautiful photos. :] and such sweet words about your mother. I love mine to pieces, but she's not really the type to want to take walks.
ReplyDeletemommas are the best :)
ReplyDeleteMy mom and I always have the best talks when we are about to part, when she's dropping me off at the airport or unpacking me at school she magically remembers all these stories she has been holding back!

The foot picture in the water is so fun! I love my mom too. I miss her. She lives in the midwest now and I only get to see her 3 to 5 times a year =( So sad.

Love how you captured a little bit of Florida. Makes me miss it so. Beautiful photos and beautiful words.
ReplyDeletehow lovely it is to get some good quality mama time! I just had two weeks with mine, but that was not even close to enough! enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteWalks with mumsies are THE BEST! Looks like you have a beautiful location to walk at, too, although if I'm compleeetely honest...lol...after having grown up in florida, I prefer my North Carolina mountains to beaches any day! :D Crisp cold air and turning leaves beats humidity HANDS DOWN. ;)

These are sort of some of my favorite photos from you. They FEEL like florida. Is that strange?
ReplyDeleteAlso. I love moms. Wish I was closer to mine.. but darn that woman she won't change her whole life just to move to LA for me. It's not like I'm asking that much..
Beautiful pictures, and so nice to read about your relationship with your mom. Since I moved away, my mom has become my best friend and I always look forward to going home and spending time with her!
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a great week!
so sweet...moms r the best! :-) Heading out on my 2nd photo fun day w/that photographer....a butterfly hunting day! wish me luck!

ReplyDeleteLove the pictures that go with it as well.
And I got a little envious of you saying how you had your feet in the sand.
Well, I did have my shoes in the sand today. But that was because of a sandbox. Not exactly the same thing.
I could use a walk of the beach with my mom right about now! This looks lovely.
