I thought I'd share with y'all what a typical grocery list is for me.
{At the request of someone on my formspring}
This is what you'll typically find inside my fridge and pantries.
I eat to get energy, feel good, but also for pleasure.  I always allow treats here and there - usually in the form of cheese or swiss chocolate.
  This list is basically my "before i was married grocery list" - as now it includes more meat - since JB loves meat... and my love affair is more with veggies.  Though I do crave a good burger or filet at times.
I'm also a grazer, I snack all throughout the day - so a lot of the above is snack food.
 but healthy snack food. (:

What's some go-to items for y'all in the grocery store?

PS: thanks for all your kind words from last week.  I'm feeling so much better.

  27. This is an impressive list full of goodness...my list is not quite as healthy as yours especially as I am addicted to these bruschetta crisp things and amaretto biscuits...I try not to buy them as often now as I tend to eat far too many in one sitting! Oh and dark chocolate, I just couldn't live without it!

    At the moment I am trying to buy something I have never tried before or don't know what to do with and try out a new recipe. It is starting this week although I am not sure with what.

  37. Sarah, I totally had a dream last night about this, no lie. I read your grocery list yesterday and was like "this is EXACTLY what is on my list, to a T" and I guess I kept thinking about it (because everything on it is SOOO good and like you, I am OBSESSED with my veggies and goat cheese is like candy to me) and I guess it made a big impact because I had a dream that you and I were totally discussing this list and the different foods we like and different ways to cook with all that is listed, etc.

    It was so weird. I remember it vividly.

    total soulmates?

  38. Yes to sparkling water (Italy did that to me) and avocados!! This is one impressive list dear, I would like to add a lot more brie, hummus, spinach and walnuts to my own current list.

    Our basics (again you can blame Italy) are: tomatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, garlic, onions, mushrooms, sparkling water, wine, tea, coffee, some sort of meat :) oh and flour & eggs for pasta noodles.

    You have inspired me to want to go grocery shopping again and it's only Friday! Yum.
