I know, i know. It's only October. But I'm already thinking about Christmas cards. I love the ones from minted and even tinyprints. Do you know any etsy shops? What do you do for Christmas cards? (you're probably a normal person who thinks about this in the appropriate month of nov/dec but just in case you are nuts like moi)!
also.
it's freeeeeezing here. i don't know where fall went but i'd like it to come back for our last week in switz. please.

I've been (quietly) thinking about Christmas cards too!! Nice to know I'm not the only one. :)
ReplyDeleteIts never too early to start thinking about Christmas:)
ReplyDeleteGood for you! I finished buying my cards and stickers for them yesterday...even have my holiday stamps! :)
ReplyDeleteIt will be here before you know it...actually, my mother writes close to 200 Christmas cards every year with long hand written letters to each, that is individual to the person, so, she starts September 1st!
Liesl :)
Happy to know I'm not alone!
ReplyDeleteLiesl- your mom is my hero!
So, I'm new to your blog but LOVING IT!
ReplyDeleteI am so into christmas cards and have been looking for the right one this year since last christmas!
I love the one you shared with from Minted. I don't think you can ever go wrong with a minted card. :0)
I am also thinking about Christmas..Really love that card and I am freezing here too:)
ReplyDeleteHugs and kisses
Ps: I hope you had a chance to enter my Giveaway!
Love the card! I like Tinyprints too! Usually I do a photo card from Costco (like everyone else we know). It's cheap and easy except for picking or taking the picture.

I've already started looking for Christmas cards too! I love minted and also finestationary.com. It's such a hard decision to make!
ReplyDeletei love all these admissions of christmas card frenzy! i too have been thinking about it - but then i remember i will probably have to update my wedding invitation address list to mail them! ahhh!
ReplyDeleteI have a draft up on my computer right now. From Minted. They're expensive, but they're beautiful. I just wish it was possible to take a decent picture of all four of us (us and our little boys) together!
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about christmas cards for months now haha! Good to know i'm not the only plan way tooo far in advance planner :)
ReplyDeleteLove that one!!!!
ReplyDeleteI usually use Shutterfly and they've always come out cute!
ReplyDeletei love the cards on minted! the holidays always seem to sneak up, so i don't think you're too early :) christmas will be here before you know it!
ReplyDeleteThat Christmas card above is so beautiful...not boring or typical at all.
ReplyDeletei can't lie. i've been thinking about the Christmas cards too. but my hangup is this: is it crazy to think that amidst interviews for residency that I will actually be able to send them out?
ReplyDeleteand secretly, i'm also wondering if it's dumb to just send out a card of me and the hubs. there. i said it. go ahead and judge me, newlyweds. i hate myself for it a little bit too.
thoughts?
OH! Your blog is just so sweet! I'm so glad I found you! I'm a bit ridiculous like you and am already thinking about holidays and cards too. I usually go all out but last year I just had my daughter, so we skipped the crazy/artsy (that I usually do) and went with a simple baby shot. This year I'm gonna step it up!! Check in on my blog and you'll see!

Last year I sent out an Xmas card of just me and my dog...I felt like i had to send something! I've been dating my boyfriend now since April, but since we aren't married I don't know if it would be appropriate to send out a card with both of us on it? hmmm....
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your blog! it's so dainty, vintage feeling :)
New follower!
You are SO not alone. But I haven't even known where to start!! Please keep us posted on what you decide!!
ReplyDeleteI am already brainstorming our Christmas picture and getting a few designs bookmarked. I have a girlfriend who has her own etsy store and has made every single annoucement, invitation and Christmas card for me for the past four years. I check out tiny prints and other various websites and then send them to her so she can design something for me that is original!

Christmas comes and i go into panic mode and then i'm not really happy with any of the gifts i got anyone and i wish i'd sent more Christmas cards and i wonder where december fourth through twenty-fourth went...
o bother.
I think it's great you're thinking about this early! I wish I did. I'm always soo behind on Christmas shopping and decorations. I love this Christmas card!
